Business Card Printing

Custom full-color business card printing is available in five different sizes and a range of paper stock options, with a choice of rounded or square corners. Print business cards double-sided or single-sided.

Recommendations: The most popular card choice is 14 pt. glossy paper. The shiny finish look does make the color on your cards look more vibrant; however, the glossy finish does make it hard to write on them. If you would still like to print your cards on glossy paper and need to write on your cards, we recommend that you select the front side of your cards to be glossy and leave the back non-glossy so that you can write on the back. However, the best card for writing on is 14 pt. uncoated.

Printing Time: Once you have approved your print design, it usually takes 2-5 business days for your cards to be printed, cut, and packaged to ship. Round corners and quantities over 2500 sometimes require an additional day to complete. Likewise, quantities over 5000 need an extra day per 5000.

Shipping Time: Shipping time is usually 2 to 5 business days. The transit time depends on your location and is not the same as the printing turnaround time. Shipping time begins the moment your order has been printed, packaged, and accepted by the carrier. Additional shipping options such as an upgrade to 2nd Day Air are available at the checkout.

14 pt. Gloss Cover
Most popular! Gloss coated with a high UV coating. Smooth feel on touch and makes the colors appear very vibrant and shiny. However, it is not possible to write on gloss coating.

14 pt. Uncoated Cover
Best for Writing! This cardstock has a natural paper feel with a slight texture, and it is ideal for writing on as it instantly absorbs the ink without smearing.

16 pt. Dull Matte Cover
Thicker cardstock. This paper comes with a smooth dull matte silky finish. It is possible to write on it, just not as ideal as our 14 pt. uncoated cardstock as it takes few seconds for it to absorb the ink. However, if you print this cardstock with a glossy coating, it is impossible to write on a glossy finish.

100 lbs. Recycled Matte Cover
Thinner cardstock. Made out of recycled materials, it comes with a smooth dull matte silky finish similar to our 16 pt. dull cover matte cardstock. Writing on this cardstock is also possible, but it isn't ideal as it does take few seconds to absorb the ink.

Templates: Download the template, then open it in your design program. Your template will be in the correct size, resolution, and color mode. Use the template as a guide, and when done designing, delete the template layer and save your finished artwork without the template guidelines and instructions.

--- Safe line: All text, images, logos, etc., need to stay inside the blue line. Anything left outside the blue line may be cut off.

--- Cutting line: This is approximately where your print will be cut. Because of possible shifting during the cutting process, borders are not recommended, and as a result, borders may appear uneven.

--- Bleed line: Your background needs to extend to the edge of the black line.

Please send artwork without blue, pink, and black guidelines.
No crop marks.
Zoom in to 100% to check your resolution quality. Your artwork will print as sharp as it looks at 100% zoom.
If you send files as .eps .pdf or .ai, all texts should be converted to outline.
If using Photoshop, flatten your image, and save it as .jpg or .pdf. That will prevent fonts from converting to defaults.

Error: If a yellow box appears on top of the page that says "Please correct the following," it means that you didn't select one of the required options from the drop-down menu. So be sure to go thru each drop-down option and make a proper selection, such as "size, quantity, proofs..."

File Upload: Most files upload within seconds, but sometimes large files can even take up to 20 minutes to upload. It mainly depends on your internet speed and what size and format file you are uploading. For fastest uploads, flatten your layers and save as PDF or JPG, but make sure that your resolution and size stay the same and are not smaller than required. If you keep receiving an error, check that you are uploading the correct file format. The server will not accept any other file format.

When you order 1000 pieces, it counts as one set, and they will all have the same artwork. We cannot print different artworks on the same set of 1000 pieces. If you want 500 pieces with one artwork and another 500 with different artwork, you need to add a set of 500 to your cart and upload artwork for that set. Then, you can add another set of 500, upload the artwork for that set, and repeat the process as needed.

When selecting between 14 pt. glossy or 16 pt. glossy material, you have the option to choose a glossy finish on either the front only or both the front and back. If you don't indicate a preference, both sides will have a glossy finish.

It is important to note that Gloss UV Coating products cannot be written on. If you need to write on the back side of your prints, we recommend selecting only the front side to have a glossy finish.

For single-sided prints, only the printed side will have a glossy finish. If you want both sides to be glossy, you must order double-sided prints and upload a file with a white background and no other content for the backside.

Please note that a glossy finish can only be added to materials that are 14 pt. glossy or 16 pt. glossy. If you choose any other type of cardstock, we cannot add a glossy finish to it.

E-MAIL ME PROOF FOR REVIEW & APPROVAL: We'll review your files and send a design proof by e-mail. Check it carefully and approve it before production. You should receive the proof within a few hours on business days. Look out for it and take the time to review it thoroughly. If you need any corrections, follow the instructions in the e-mail.

NO PROOF, PRINT AS IS: This option saves time if you use our blank templates and your design is the correct size and resolution. If your files do not match our templates, we will use our best judgment and lay out your design on our blank templates "to fit," or if needed, they will be "stretched to fit." A digital proof will not be e-mailed. If there are any issues, we'll e-mail you and place your order on hold

Printing time:
PRINTING TIME:

After you have given your approval for the print design, your order will be sent to production. The printing time varies based on the product, quantity, and finishing options you choose, and it is not the same as the shipping time. Generally, large format printing takes around 2-3 business days for production, while stationery products take a bit longer, approximately 2-5 business days for printing, cutting, and packaging before shipping. For products with quantities over 2500 or require drilling, gluing, or have round corners, they might need an additional day to complete. Similarly, quantities over 5000 require an extra day per 5000. Printing time is an estimated time and not a guaranteed time. Business days are from Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and holidays. The printing time begins once you approve your order/design proof for printing.
