We print our yard signs on 4mm white corrugated plastic often referred to as coroplast. Coroplast is a sturdy material that is similar to cardboards but with a plastic finish rather than paper. For extended durability and the safety of our environment, we use UV soy-based eco-friendly and weather-resistant ink.
Flute Directions: Coroplast signs have holes in the inside, called flutes. If you order your sign with wire sticks, we'll print your signs with flutes positioned vertically, which allows you to insert your wire stand from the bottom. If you order sings without wire stands, your flute directions may vary. Corrugated flute structure on our coroplast signs can sometimes have a very subtle linear effect (faint lines) on the printed product's surface, which is industry standard.
Yes. Our yard signs include metal wire stands or step stakes so that you can effortlessly display them on your lawn.
The most common yard sign size that you have probably seen is 18x24 inches. If you are displaying your signs around a quiet neighborhood where the viewing distance is up close, and viewers are walking right by it, we suggest a smaller size such as 12x18 inches. If you are going to display your sign in a busy shopping area or along a busy street, you might consider going with a huge 24x36 inch yard sign to help your message get noticed easier. The most popular election sign sizes are either 18x24 or 24x36 inches.
To ensure the design setup accuracy, we offer blank templates for all sizes. Blank templates are available for download on the next page once you select a size you wish to print. Use our blank templates in a design program of your choice to set up your design.
Viewers pass by or drive by quickly, and they only have few seconds to look at the sign. For maximum impact, we suggest keeping your message short and to a point. Unless your viewers will stop by and read the smaller text, we recommend avoiding any small and long texts on yard signs. Most noticed and remembered yard signs have no more than two lines of text and often use less than six words. They use high-contrast colors and easy-to-read bold text.
